Lead Full Stack Engineer

The Role and The Team

We’re hiring a Lead Full‑Stack Engineer who will set the engineering cadence from our Orange County HQ. You’ll pair in person with designers, PMs, and fellow engineers to craft end‑to‑end experiences—then use AI‑driven tooling to help the entire team move faster and more thoughtfully.

What You’ll Do

• Own the team’s execution cadence and quality

• Build critical user journeys. From React/React Native front‑ends to TypeScript/Node APIs, you’ll ship features that our customers rely on every day.

• Elevate engineering practice. Introduce AI agents, autonomous tests, and internal tools that 10× productivity.

• Help prioritize and slice work for a small team

• Balance pace with polish. You know when to prototype quickly and when to refine details that make the difference between usable and delightful.

• Guard reliability and security. Design systems that scale gracefully as we expand.

About You

• 4+ years building production software across React/React Native, Node.js, and cloud services.

• AI‑literate. You’ve shipped features or internal tooling that rely on LLMs, embeddings, or intelligent automation.

• Builder’s résumé. You’ve started a project from scratch—whether a company, side project, or greenfield team initiative.

• Clear communicator. You document decisions and give/seek feedback early.

• Taste for product & design. Users can feel the care you put into error states, loading moments, and micro‑interactions.

• You’re happy to be in the office at least three days a week to pair, white-board, and build together.

Nice‑to‑haves

• Logistics, mapping, or supply‑chain tech experience (PostGIS, Mapbox, etc).

• Prior high‑growth SaaS/marketplace experience

• $220k - 250k annual salary depending on experience
